1,536 dimensionsWe encode your project description into a 1,536-dimensional numerical fingerprint: a precise mathematical representation that captures meaning, context, and intent as a point in space.
Every grant has one too
Every grant in our database has been pre-processed into its own fingerprint using the same equations. Each sits at a fixed coordinate in that same mathematical space, ready to be measured.
Distance is relevance
cosine similarityWe calculate the cosine similarity between your fingerprint and every grant. It is a direct mathematical measure of angular proximity. The closer the fingerprints, the stronger the match.
The result is a ranked shortlist ordered by mathematical fit score. Every position is earned by calculation, not convention.
